Department of Public Health

Congratulations to Paula Spurlin who received the 2023 Performance Award in Vital Records! There are only 10 offices in the state that received the award this year. There is a list of 10 performance standards that must be met to obtain this award including making few errors, timely payment of invoices, timeliness, and completing annual training by the deadline. She has also received this award previously in 2015, 2017, and 2021. We are all very proud of her. She always represents the County in such a professional manner as does all our Public Health Staff.  It is staff like her and her peers who make me so happy that I came to work for the County 4 years ago.
