Region 15 Opioid Settlement Governance Committee Announces Funding Opportunity for Youth Substance Use Prevention
The Region 15 Opioid Settlement Governance Committee is now accepting grant applications from eligible organizations to support substance use disorder prevention specifically for youth programs.
Eligible applicants include:
• 501(c)(3) organizations
• PreK-12 schools and districts
• Local and county government agencies
• Serving: Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, and Park counties
An optional pre-application webinar will be held Thursday, February 13th, 10:00-11:00 AM:
Interested organizations should submit the required grant materials by March 20th, 2025.

As part of our ongoing collaborative effort, the Upper Arkansas Cooperative Weed Management Area will host our annual conference on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at the Pueblo Convention Center from 8 am to 4 pm. Registered attendees will enjoy refreshments, lunch, materials, and continuing education credits for pesticide applicators. Anyone with weed management responsibilities should consider attending, including weed board members, advisors and managers; county commissioners, representatives of town or city governments; state and federal land managers; road department managers; conservation district board members, and interested private landowners.
