Bridge Closure
FRCO 120-211 Bridge is closed indefinitely as of February 6, 2025, due to critical damage. We do not have an estimated date for re-opening. Detours, barricades, and closure signs are in place to alert the traveling public. Please use alternate routes when planning your commute and share with anyone who may not use electronic technology communications. We will notify the public once the bridge has been reopened. As always, your patience and cooperation are very much appreciated while we work to assess the situation and formulate a plan to repair and reopen.
Elm Avenue from the traffic circle going west to CR 143 will be closed from Monday February 10, 2025 to Friday February 28, 2025 for utility work being completed by the City of Cañon City. Traffic control and detours will be provided by Hammers Construction during this time. We ask that you plan accordingly for your commute and slow down around the work zone.
