The Fremont County Board of County Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from citizens of Fremont County wishing to serve on the Fremont County Board of Zoning Adjustment.
The Board of Zoning Adjustment meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. to review requests for variance from the Fremont County Zoning Resolution, for the issuance of medical hardship waivers or appeals of decisions made by county officials in interpretation of the Fremont County Zoning Resolution. The Board of Zoning Adjustment makes final decisions.
Interested persons should submit a letter stating their qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve by mail or in person to the Fremont County Board of County Commissioners at 615 Macon Avenue - Room 105, Canon City, Colorado 81212, or by facsimile at (719) 276-7304. All applications must be received no later than December 8, 2006.
