Fremont County Department of Transportation
Due to the heavy rains, we have been experiencing around Fremont County, our DOT staff have been mitigating flooding and repairing washouts on CR 45, CR 7, CR 132, CR 143, and the Shelf Road.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as our crews work to maintain our roadways and keep them safe for our citizens!

Just a reminder: beginning this Thursday, August 27th, and continuing through the end of the year, the Fremont County Department of Public Health will open at 9 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. on the last Thursday of each month to allow for staff professional development. Fremont County Employee Appreciation Picnic

Every year, they cover the cost of all food and prizes and generously give their time to show their appreciation for our roughly 350 employees. Start your day with aviation, automobiles, and community fun at our annual Fly-In & Drive-In! Join pilots, aviation enthusiasts, classic car owners, and community members on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 7:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Fremont County Airport.
Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while exploring a variety of aircraft and vehicles on display. Browse unique items at our fly-market, connect with fellow aviators and enthusiasts, and experience our favorite annual event.
