We are often asked, "What is Colorado State University Extension and what do you do?"
The Fremont County Extension in Colorado is the off-campus educational arm of Colorado State University. The mission of CSU Extension is "We empower Coloradans to address important & emerging community issues using dynamic, science-based educational resources." Our vision is to "lead the University in helping the people of Colorado put knowledge to work." Simply put, the Fremont County Extension works in partnership with the County Commissioners to provide the citizens of Fremont County with information, education and help in a wide variety of areas. Our funding comes from county, state and federal governments making a three-way partnership.
