The Fremont County Planning Commission will spend their monthly meeting on June 7th discussing issues dealing with updating the county’s master plan. The Planning Commission has no application reviews to consider on their monthly agenda. The Commission will choose a new secretary to replace Joe Caruso who recently resigned his City of Florence seat on the Planning Commission due to other time commitments. Florence City Councilman Larry Baker will attend his first county Planning Commission meeting having been nominated by Florence Mayor Paul Villagrana and formally appointed last week by the Board of Commissioners.
The only other item of business on the Commission’s agenda is to devote time to discussing the process they will use in updating the Fremont County Master Plan. The Planning Commission meets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7th, in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the lower level of the Fremont County Administration Building.
