Demolition of the bridge is complete and ahead of schedule. Driving the pier and abutment piling is scheduled to begin this week and continue for at least 3 weeks. Hours for the Pile Driving are between 7am and 6pm M-F. Excavation of the abutment at each end of the new bridge location is also underway. Much buried waste concrete was encountered.  The waste concrete was probably used to stabilize the 4 mile creek channel after past high storm events. DHS
The Colorado Department of Human Services Community Partnerships and Performance Management teams recently recognized FCDHS as a 2023 Distinguished Performer ! In the calendar year 2023, Distinguished Performers are counties that met 75% or more of the monthly C-Stat goals on the county-facing C-Stat Dashboard.
C-Stat is a performance-based strategy that allows every program within the Colorado Department of Human Services to better focus on and improve performance outcomes. C-Stat awards are selected based on consistent, significant improvement in performance demonstrated by a Colorado county within CDHS.
The staff at DHS has worked incredibly hard this past year to meet the needs of the clients and it is quite an honor and a lot of hard work to meet these C-State goals. We are all very proud of the great work they do at DHS.
