This position provides life skills and Core services in support of a case plan by performing para-professional services of an ongoing nature to families and children in the areas of child protection, youth-in-conflict and permanency planning.
Education and or Experience:
LEVEL I: Education and or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency.
LEVEL II: Education and or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Six (6) months full time, paid or unpaid, experience involving extensive public contact.
LEVEL III: Education and or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Two years full time, paid or unpaid, experience involving extensive public contact.
Substitutions for Level II and Level III: Successful completion of appropriate course work obtained beyond high school may substitute for the required experience on a month for month basis.
LEVEL IV: Education and or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Minimum of one (1) year full time, paid experience obtained in a social services agency at a Level III.
For internal promotions only: Minimum of one (1) year experience at the next lower level.
Proof of valid Colorado driver’s license, vehicle in safe operating condition and liability insurance must be on
file at all times.
