The FCDHS Business Office is responsible for the DHS financial management and audit controls; budget preparation; tracking and analysis; and payment and reconciliation of departmental and program expenditures, accounts receivable, accounts payable, DHS job announcements, application review and position testing.

The Fremont County Department of Human Services administers all assistance payments and related income support program policies in accordance with the rules and regulations contained in the Colorado State Staff Manuals, Vol. III, IV-B and VIII.

While interviewing is normally conducted at the individual desks of eligibility technicians, private interview space will be made available at the client's request.

Central Mountain Options for Long Term Care (CMOLTC) is the Single Entry Point agency for Custer and Fremont counties. Our goal is to provide long-term services to elderly and disabled persons as a means to help people continue to live in community settings as alternatives to nursing home care.

What is the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program?
This program assists low income families with child care subsidies. Funding comes from federal, state and local sources including the new Child Care and Development Block Grant. Parents pay a parental fee based on their income.

Who's eligible?

• Teen parents who are working or in school or obtaining a GED.
• Low income parents who are working or in training.
