Katie Barr sworn in as Clerk & Recorder joined by outgoing Clerk Norma Hatfield
Six Fremont County officials who were the choice of voters in last November’s election were officially sworn into office in ceremonies Tuesday morning at the Fremont County Administration Building. Taking the oath of office for the first time were Katie Barr as County Clerk and Recorder and Debbie Bell as District 2 Fremont County Commissioner.
Officials who were sworn in as the result of their re-election included Sheriff Jim Beicker, County Surveyor Matt Koch, Assessor Stacey Seifert, and Coroner Dr. Dorothy Twellman. Fremont County District Judge David Thorson was on hand to administer the oath of office to the six officials.
Debbie Bell is joined by her husband Charlie as she is sworn in as the first woman elected as a Fremont County Commissioner.
