The Fremont County Board of Commissioners is soliciting letters of interest from Fremont County residents to fill two upcoming openings on the Fremont County Tourism Council. The Tourism Council develops and administers a Tourism Marketing Plan for Fremont County utilizing the proceeds from the Fremont County Lodging Tax.
The positions are three-year terms that will run from January 1, 2014, through December 31, 2016. Current board members Glenn Hayes and Lloyd Harwood, whose terms expire December 31, are eligible for reappointment.
Employment or ownership in a tourism-related business will be a determining factor in the appointments by the Commissioners.
