Fremont County Motor Vehicle Department Supervisor Dotty Gardunio was honored at the Fremont County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday as the 2011 County Employee of the year. In the letter of nomination Gardunio was described as “honest, caring, reliable, determined, fair, fun, and simply a model human being”. Gardunio took over supervisory duties in the Fremont County Clerk’s Motor Vehicle Department last January after Katie Barr was elected County Clerk. Gardunio is going on her fourth year of work in the Motor Vehicle Department. The Board of Commissioners presented Gardunio with a certificate and the $300 check that accompanies the annual award.
