Planning Commission to Consider Amendment to Zoning Resolution

The Fremont County Planning Commission will again take up consideration of an amendment to Fremont County’s Zoning Resolution when the Commission meets for its monthly meeting on November 1st.   Action on the proposed amendment was tabled from the October 4th Commission meeting.

The amendment addresses several definitions; procedures for considering amendments, changes, or repeals; application submissions for zone changes, conditional and special review use permits, and commercial development plans;  zone change requirements; and specific changes proposed for conditional use permits, special review use permits, temporary use permits, and commercial development plans.

Following consideration of the zoning resolution amendments the Planning Commission is expected to adjourn into a workshop session to resume discussion on updating Fremont County’s Master Plan.

The Planning Commission meets at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1st, in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the Lower Level of the Fremont County Administration Building.
