Special Hours for Receiving Mail Ballots

Special Hours for Receiving Mail Ballots

The Fremont County Clerks Office has announced special hours this weekend to accommodate voters who want to drop off their mail ballots in time for Tuesday evening’s ballot deadline for the primary election.   County Clerk Norma Hatfield said that in compliance with state law the Clerk’s Office will be open this Friday and Saturday for voters to drop off their mail ballots.   Because the County Administration Building is typically closed both days, voters will be required to use the west entrance.    The west entrance will be open from 9 until 3 both Friday and Saturday to receive ballots.    The Clerk’s Office will also be open until 7 p.m. Tuesday evening, August 10th, to receive any late mail ballots.

Mrs. Hatfield said voters can also drop off their primary election mail ballots at the Florence City Hall from 9 until 3 this Saturday and next Tuesday, August 10th.
