The Fremont County Board of Commissioners is accepting letters from persons interested in being appointed to the Fremont County Planning Commission. Two seats come up for annual appointment on the Planning Commission in January. The seats are currently held by Mike Schnobrich and Herm Lateer. They are both eligible for reappointment and have already indicated an interest in serving for another term.
Any Fremont County resident who has an interest in planning, zoning, and land use issues in Fremont County is welcome to submit a letter of interest. Both appointments are for three year terms on the Planning Commission.
Persons interested in serving on the Planning Commission should submit a letter of interest to the Fremont County Board of Commissioners, Room 105, 615 Macon Avenue, Cañon City. The deadline for submitting letters is 4 p.m., Thursday, January 6th.
